Niykee keeps writing music, even though she has been swept up in the recent crisis. Her selection was made to be part of this year's YouTube Brandcast by Snoop and he accompanied her on stage. The young producer is now fascinated by Niykee. She constantly checks out the latest beats. A lot of them inspire music ideas. In just five seconds, I know the quality of a song or not. After that, I have an idea of a song and begin writing the lyrics immediately. I get the words when I'm on my deck, playing guitar. Most of the time, it's less than 30 minutes. Niykee keeps working on her talents as a writer and lyrics writer. She explains how the trauma she endured during her childhood has served as an infinite source of unusual inspiration. The pain I felt growing up and that of losing my sibling are evident in my lyrics, even though they're not exactly literal. It shapes my songs and builds this deeper understanding behind all things that's an important thing that I value. It is important to me to realize that I could listen to any one of my music 20 years later and be proud of what I had to say.
